Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm a Graphic Designer, Strategist, and Curator. I use Design, Social Media, and History to tell compelling stories.

Research & Writing
I have a background in Graphic Design, with a B.A. in Art History and an M.A. in History from Rutgers University — New Brunswick. I’m interested in the ways that Design, Social Media, and History can converge and create engaging and meaningful stories that resonate with large and diverse audiences. Together, they enhance storytelling to encourage a deeper understanding and connection to the past while emphasizing its relevance in today's world.
Previously, I’ve worked for Princeton University’s Office of Advancement, where I implemented a wide array of social strategies across Princeton Alumni social media channels aimed at promoting alumni stories and major events like Princeton Reunions. Additionally, I’ve worked for Princeton’s Lewis Center for the Arts where I designed posters, flyers, and ads to promote events for the academic programs in Atelier, Creative Writing, Dance, Theatre, Music Theater, and Visual Arts.
I’ve also done curatorial work and research on topics ranging from the 17th-century Dutch Republic, 20th-century Soviet non-conformist Artists, Bell Laboratories, and Colonial America.
Work
Graphic Design
I’ve designed for clients such as Morven Museum & Garden, Princeton University Concerts, West Windsor Arts Council, Ananta Creative Group, and Rutgers University Department of French and completed projects ranging from traditional print media like brochures and posters, to buttons, pins, and banners.
Social Media
By fostering connections rooted in nostalgia and tradition, @princetonalumni social media channels focus on alumni stories and content that aid in sharing and creating memories for alumni near and far.
Reels & Photography
To help alumni get excited for Orange & Black day (Princeton’s birthday) in 2022, I highlighted an exhibit from Mudd Manuscript Library that looked back on the first 275 years of the University’s history.
To keep alumni in the loop of campus happenings, I created a reel showcasing an exciting exhibition by Prof. Jennifer Rampling at Firestone Library featuring two Ripley Scrolls from the Library’s Special Collections.
Content & Writing
For Reunions 2022 & 2023, I fused the fun and excitement of the weekend’s many events into a quiz for our instagram audience, this included research, writing, photographing, and designing (and even providing some props too!) — you can check out the 2023 quiz here.
Let’s connect.
